Artemisia (Khempa)

Artemisia, is an aromatic herbs and shrubs in the Asteraceae family. Examples include wormwood, sagebrush, and tarragon. The leaves have been used in medicines and beverages such as absinthe and vermouth. People use Artemisia herbs to treat cough, stomach and intestinal upset, the common cold, measles, diabetes, yellowed skin (jaundice), anxiety, irregular heartbeat & muscle weakness. It is also used for parasitic infections such as roundworms, pinworms, tapeworms, hookworms & flukes.
