Anthopogon / Dwarf Rhododendron (Sunpati)

Rhododendron anthopogon is an evergreen shrub growing to 0.6 m (2ft in) by 0.6 m (2ft in). It is one of the naturally occurring plants which possess various health benefits. The species is hermaphrodite (has both male and female organs). The stems and leaves are used in Tibetan herbalism. It has a sweet, bitter & astringent taste and it produce heat in body. It is used in prevention & treatment of diseases associated with heart, dysentery, inflammation, detoxification, fever, diarrhea, constipation, bronchitis & asthma.
